I the future we will see a world filled with intelligent cameras relying on neural nets, and computer vision. Yes, there’s hype around smart cameras. However, they are becoming increasingly useful. We are seeing drones that are getting intelligent cameras and self-driving cars are loaded with smart cameras. The OpenMV kickstarter is exciting because it taps into this need. This project is all about building a camera module with some smarts behind it.
